And the question:
View Askew's opinion of the piracy of their films and other intellectual property...

Although, this seems like a rhetorical question, truely it's not intended to be. Basically, i'd like the opinion of the View Askew crew on piracy of movies, and the internet as a tool.

According to ISONews.com, View Askew's latest, and close to greatest film Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was released in the form of a CAM (camera bootleg, shot by a midget in a trenchcoat, often poor audio with audience laughter and such) on 9/1/2001, and in WorkPrint format [The actual reels, great audio and video quality, and those precious little countdowns between ciggerette burns, (Which also, suggests a mole in the production house)] on 9/2/2001... These being avalible for download by greedy teenagers everywhere, growing at an exponential rate.

I was wondering if View Askew had taken any measures to assure their work wasn't passed around like a cheap whore...

Personally, i stood in line for 35 minutes on opening night to catch it at my local theature, but it doesn't mean i couldn't count the number of people i know who have it on one hand, (and no, i dont have six fingers on my right hand, but anything new could spice up your sex life)

Please, again, your opinion?

Zeff
