As much as I loved Roger Waters, but here's the truth: he was a narcissistic megalomaniacal asshole who forced his will on his bandmates and didn't accept their ideas. Shit, it was hardly a band, period. You guys are making it sound like Waters did all the work while the others sat around, allowing him free reign, then "betrayed" him by foraging on without him when he "ended" the band after "The Final Cut." From what I understand, dude was a tyrant and beyond difficult to reason or work with.

Look, poetic mastermind or not, Waters was a bitter, nasty, self-centered fuck who got what he deserved back in 1987. Lauding him as the genius and reducing the others as money-hungry session players living off "his" legacy (pardon me if I'm wrong, but Roger Waters did not write EVERY FUCKING MEMORABLE PINK FLOYD SONG IN EXISTENCE) is to be ignorant of the band's history.
