Barret was the driving force for ONE ALBUM. Granted, he was a genius, but what Pink Floyd became was, for all intents and purposed, Roger Waters' mouthpiece. The Barret-era Floyd is an entirely different beast then what the band became after he left and Waters took the dominant reigns.

: Legally it belongs to David Gilmour et al. Morally Pink Floyd belongs to Syd Barrett. He was the original, dominant brains; Waters was just the bass player.
