Also, this is kinda a poll (since we never get those here), so anyone else chime in.

A friend and I were arguing about bad movies. He says people in Hollywood, i.e. executives, writers, directors, are aware of the utter shite that they are producing, and do it with $$$ in their eyes and hopes of pleasing the public (to the tune of $$$ of course).

I argued that I used to believe this, but have decided that instead, most of these people in hollywood who produce this crap really believe in their projects, and believe that they are good. One point was Anaconda. He said that the production team had to be aware that they were making a solid B movie (I don't mean that in the good way), whereas I was sure that at least a few people were passionate about it and really thought that the movie they were making was good.

For Kev, Lynch, whoever has actually seen hollywood writing / back end in motion (note: "hollywood back end in motion" does not refer to celeb porno sites nor Jennifer Lopez), what do you think?

Anyone else feel free to chime in.
