Preludes & Nocturnes. (I had not read it before and missed all the references to it in Green Arrow, so I reread that a few days ago.) I also read some Harley Quinn.

Sadly, I did not agree with your answer on the brain surgery question on the last board. There's too many variables to say for sure either way.
It was someone else's post originally, but if it is an area of interest for you, I really do recommend the Oliver Sacks books. He wrote "Awakenings," and "The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat."
Awakenings was made into a movie w/Robin Williams playing the doctor, and Robert DeNiro as the patient (NOT Patch Adams - this is definitely not a comedy).
