Seriously, did anyone truely care that the precogs lived in peace and quite for the rest of their days. I had no emotional tie with the characters. I mean, they spend most of the movie telling you that the precogs are less than people. In fact, there's that line, "It's best not to think of them as people." Personaly, when Anderton was being put into the prison and ironsides was saying, "welcome to my flock." I thought that would have been a fine ending. Anderton's silenced, Pre-crime goes national, the twisted yet well-meaning crow becomes a hero, and world keeps moving forward. It wouldn't be a happy ending, but an honest one. All that aside, I really liked the movie overall. It's not Spielberg's nor Cruise's best, but it's up there.

: Yeah, Spielberg really likes the happy endings. I thought the movie would end when Anderton finds Crow, but it goes on for like 20 minutes after that.

: : But I really think it should have ended with Anderton finding out that Crow had killed his son, and then shooting him out the window. After that, he gets arrested and put away. That would have been one hell of an ending, especially considering the last half hour felt really "tacked on" by Spielberg in an attempt to give it a happy ending. God, I hate that.
