I've got a few Criterion discs.Good quality,all.But of late,the titles they're putting out are ones I have no interest in.The last Criterion disc I bought was "Monty Pythons' Life of Brian",which was excellent.Anchor Bay,however,has stepped up to be the company of choice for me.I'm into "genre" films,and Anchor Bay consistently releases the films I want to own.They take great care in what they do.Great transfers,great 5.1 mixes,(sometimes DTS),and loads of features and nice packaging.
