I read that post, but you're generalizing for other people.

Just because some of the IRA goes after Harrison Ford & his family in a MOVIE, doesn't mean the rest of the movie-going public think all people of Irish descent are homicidal nutcases.

This sort of sounds like the big problem gays & lesbians had w/Sharon Stone's character in "Basic Instinct". (SPOILERS) They thought her character - a murderess - was going to make them look bad as a group.

I'm a bit disturbed that the only villains that are PC nowadays can only be an American white male who is atheist and between the ages of 25-45.
