today. We've decided to start teaching the youngest to read. I think we need a review. Here it is:

Meg, Sam, and Ham

This is Meg.
Meg met Sam.
Meg liked Sam.
Sam liked ham.
Meg and Sam ate some ham.
Sam died.
That ham was bad ham.

The End

(I should mention, Sam's untimely demise came about when my daughter got angry that I said we had to use all small words. I guess she felt I was stifling her creative process.)

We're currently looking for an illustrator.
