I can't ignore all the coincidences in the 2000 election, as they have a potentially damaging effect on democracy. You only have to look at Berlusconi in Italy to see what the effects of manipulating the system can do (In fact, I reccomend reading The Dark Heart Of Italy to everyone here.)
