Here's something I find ironic about The Passions of Christ. The movie has been accused of promoting anti-semitisim. The church is defending it saying that seeing the film won't infulence people to hate Jews. Arn't these the same people who complained that all the violence in movies is what infulences people to kill? True I'm not an anti-semite and I don't think I'll become one after seeing this movie. But I'm also not a killer and I also don't think I'll become one after seeing Resiviour Dogs. Why can't the church see the irony and stop bitching at Hollywood for making films "too violent"?
