THESE
ARE THE "CONFIRMED" MOVIES BEING SHOWN. THE ACTUAL, FINAL
LINE UP IS BEING PLAYED CLOSE TO THE VEST, ALL MYSTERIOUS AND CLOAK-AND-DAGGER.
AT GREAT PERSONAL RISK, VINCENT HAS DISCLOSED THE FOLLOWING TWO MOVIES
THAT ARE "LOCKED":

'Big
Helium Dog'
Brian Lynch
Upon
reading the script, View Askew guru Bob Hawk had this to say:
" Don't do this script. Just.... Don't do it....It's
not funny when you hurt old people."
But young filmmaker Brian Lynch and co-editor Vincent Periera
did not heed the advice, and made the movie anyway. And, upon
screening it at Vulgarthon, you'll be glad they did. BHD puts
the "fun" in "funny," and adds an extra
"ny" to the end.

'Vulgar'
Bryan Johnson
The
event is named VULGARTHON. Which means you'd think that showing
the movie "Vulgar" would be kind of a given, right?
Well, not so last year. Brian Johnson's darkly comic (I think)
tale of clowns and nastiness got picked up by distributor LIONS
GATE last year, and part of the pick-up deal, at the time, was
a condition that it not be shown. Well, you can't keep a creepy
clown down. VULGAR returns to his rightful place as headline
of the eponymous VULGARTHON, January, 2002. |
