Okay bubs,
here's the 411 about me. (And don't worry, while at times it may seem it,
this is neither an ask for a job, or to be in a movie or whatever.)
See I'm a 24y/o artfag, I write, I act, and I do out little screenplays now
and then.
While I've had a few nibbles with some of my books, I really really wanna
do some of my own friggin movies. In fact I've tried to do two so far and
manage to run them both so far into the ground that they really never got
off the ground to begin with.
I thought thta if I got some acting jigs it'd help me get into it all more,
so I scored myself a couple of bits in some local indies. (Both of them
were pretty cool roles, one I was a corrupt cop selling the Mayor's wife
her crack, the other I was a credit card thief who gets wacked by his
paranoid tweeker buddy. Parts I liked and hoped would go somewhere, which
both of course have evaporated after approximately 2 years of work on
them.)
So here's my question..., how the f@ck did you do Clerks>?
With credit cards right? (Of course my credit sucks worse than my last boy
friend.) But how did you get from (I think it was) 8mm stock to the big
boys stuff?
Are there any other ways of doing a flick cheap? I was thinking digital
cameras editted on Adobe Premiere or some sh@t, but worry about the
quality.
Any ideas from the bullp
