Okay, so we're here in the VA offices and we're having some sync
problems with Scott's Pro-Tools system. Earlier today, Phil Benson
from Skywalker digitized a tape using Adobe Premiere 5.1, and for
whatever reason, we've been unable to get the soundtrack to the
video sync up on the Pro-Tools. The sound is at 48K at 29.97 with
pull-down checked on- the weird thing is, when we scrub the track
using shuttle mode or scrub or if you locate any footage, the video
window burn and the ProTools counter are exactly in sync- however,
if you hit play using the spacebar or shuttle zero, the audio and
counter are out of sync, and it gets progressively worse the later you
start into the session. We're at a loss here as to explain what's going
on here- any tech heads out there have any possible explanations?
The folks at Digi-Design haven't been able to give us an answer yet.
Oh, and FLETCH WON, right?
