The MPAA forced Todd Solondz to censor his upcoming film "Storytelling". A sex scene was described by them as "pornographic". [Hmm ... funny, since they're not supposed to single out any things that are the reasons they're giving the film a rating.] So, as a form of protest, he decided to leave it in and cover it with a big red box. [The idea being to call attention to the censorship and what was being covered instead of, as in Eyes Wide Shut, not allowing the audience to know at all what's being missed, they get the idea and are supposed to then get mad at the MPAA.] As bad as all this is, they have now rejected his proposed trailer for the film on the basis of its inclusion of text explaining the red box. Apparently, they don't mind censoring art, but they don't want to be seen as censors.

Now, everybody who's still mad at Burton or GLAAD or Favreau or whomever, focus on these guys instead.
