I don't think anyone is born completely anything-sexual, because you're not a sexual being until you hit puberty and start getting sexual feelings. I think people are born with certain tendencies that may or may not develop into a sexual practice.

I also think the presence of bisexuality -- and it's not a rare thing -- adequately proves that there is no "gay gene".

Really, what does it matter? The whole thing is a political distinction, a defense against Senator Helms and friends, so that sexuality can be considered a legally protectable right -- like ethnicity, or a disability. "They were born that way, they can't help it".

I don't think it matters whether one is born or chooses to be gay -- the essential thing is that it's your right to do with your body what you want to, as long as it ain't violent.
