should I shave my beard?

I dunno if i should lose it or let it grow out. I'm losing the moustache without a doubt, but for my neck and face im not so sure. It would be my first time for letting it grow out. I can't decide

PROS
1. I would look older
2. I like the look of it (though on me im not sure)
3. covers up my ugly white/pink skin
4. Dont have to shave

CONS
1. might scratch my neck
2. Would I look really fuckin strange? (im only 17, but I do look quite older)
3. Girls might not like it
