Anybody have any thoughts on Epic? In theory, Marvel's new revamp of the classic Epic imprint seems pretty cool. But can it work? I've purchased all of "Trouble" thus far. The story is OK. I love the idea of expanding the Marvel Universe to other genres. But does this have a fan base? The possibilites are endless and exciting. Marvel has almost 5,000 characters in its stable. Would you pick up a 4 issue series on the back story of the Avenger's butler? How about Misty Knight, her years as a cop? Or how Dazzler was influenced by her Grandfather (a respected bee-bop, jazz guitarist) to become a musician? I'm making those examples up off the top of my head. But that seems to be where Epic is headed. Which I am all for. I would love to read those C and D level character stories. Am I crazy? Is this where Marvel is going with this imprint? Or am I just dreaming?
