Film Question for the 'in-the-know'

Alright, Technical Film question for any Askewers or lurkers....

I'm considering combining the use of Digital footage and film. Some of the action shots I will be having in my film I plan to shoot with both mediums.

Is there some issues that I should be aware of? Is it cost prohibitive to do this? i am aware of the visual differences. I plan to shoot in Super 16.
