Someone I knew was shot and killed by her husband on Saturday. And it made me think about the whole situation. I mean, her husband had pulled a gun on her at least two times prior and was arrested by the cops. Yet, when she takes it back, the clear him of it....is there no way that we can help those that put themselves and their children in danger. Sure, less Government control is better, but you know damn well that 99% of the time the aggressor is making the person lift the charges out of fear of what will happen when they get out of jail.
It just sucks, and now her three kids have to live the rest of their lives without their mother because their old man is a piece of shit...
Doesn't seem right.
