Why has Kevin Smith spoken out against Peter David in so many ways?
1. The CLERKS comic
2. CBG lettercolumn
3. WIZARD magazine

Peter David has been speculating on his Usenet board as to why, but claims to have no real notion.

I realize that this may seem to be an intrusive question, but consider this: if it's too private a subject, why such a public slamming of David?
