Kevin...
Oh Kevin, Dogma sooooooooo good!!! I LOVED IT... even more than Chasing Amy, and I've seen that about 20 times on video. :) You rock, and the cast rocked... I'm a writer for television and I was inspired!
But my sis and I (who grew up going to Sunday school, but the protestant kind) had a question about the angels and their "loophole". We tried so hard to figure this out after seeing the movie and think we must have missed something, but it's driving us crazy! Isn't it true that in the Catholic religion, if you confess your sins to a preist and ask forgiveness you go to Heaven? And in the protestant religion, all you have to do, theoretically speaking, is ask Jesus to be your savior and you're sins are absolved. So why coudln't the angels have just cut off their wings, turned into humans, asked the priest for forgiveness (or Jesus personally through prayer like other humans), gotten killed and gone to Heaven? Why the need for the archway to clean the slate before they died?
We are DYING to figure this one out... PLEASE help me!
And can we buy the script anywhere?
Your fan forever!
